Profile
Following a wild and misspent youth, Andrew became a Carmelite at
Florence. Studied at Paris and Avignon, France. Prior. Provincial of
Tuscany in 1348. Bishop of Fiesole on 13 October 1349. Had the gift of
prophecy and miracle worker. Noted peacemaker between quarreling Italian
houses.
