Pre-Baptism
preparation classes for parents wishing to present their child(ren) for
the initiation sacrament of BAPTISM are conducted monthly in the Parish
Center lower level Council Room.
The class consists of:
explaining
parish guidelines for celebrating baptism
reviewing
the theological aspect of this initiation sacrament
explaining
necessary paperwork
reviewing
the actual ceremony step-by-step
arranging
for a home visit if indicated
scheduling
the actual baptism (whether it is celebrated here or elsewhere).
Registration is requested by calling (405) 340-0691, ext. 109, and
leaving your name and number. Class attendance by both parents prior to
the birth of the child is encouraged. Free child care is provided.
Prerequisite: parents must be registered members of the parish for a
minimum of 6 months.
