Pentecost
Perhaps you've heard about
the man who was always complaining that his mother treated him like her
baby, no matter what his age. After turning 30, he purchased
a computer and learned to use it. Thinking he would impress
her with his skill and maturity, he sent her a well-written
letter, complete with computer graphics, borders and an elaborate
typeface.
He phoned to ask what she
thought of the letter. "It's lovely dear," she replied.
"I have it hanging on the refrigerator for all the neighbors to see."
Happy Mother's Day to all
mothers of our parish. We appreciate all that you have done
and continue to do, sharing God's love with your children.
God bless you!
Fr. John

We invite you
to let the Sunday Readings become a part of your daily life.
In the second reading today, St. Paul reminds the
Corinthians, "There are different gifts, but the same Spirit; there
are different ministries, but the same Lord." How am I
using my gifts for the commons good? |
