September 27, 2009  - Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

As I write this, I'm getting ready to leave for retreat.  A few days of quiet and prayer will be welcome.  Live can be busy and stressful for all of us.  A retreat is an opportunity to spend time with the Lord, who is the sure foundation on whom we seek to build our lives.

I know that many of you do not have the luxury of going on a retreat.  However, each of us can make time each day to ask for the Lord's help and guidance.  Even a few minutes in prayer can make a difference.

I hope that this autumn will bring blessings to each of you, and I assure you of my prayers and gratitude.

God bless you!
