Small Christian Communities are groups of 8-12 individuals who get together regularly weekly, every other week, monthly, or seasonally to share their life experiences and to get to know one another one-to-one.

A typical one hour format would include prayer, scripture reflection, study, tying daily life to scripture, sharing experiences and action to reach out to others.

Groups meet different days of the week, at various times from morning through evening, in various locations through out the parish and consist of varied membership or special interest groups such as just men, coupes with preschool age children, intense scripture study, mature women and senior citizens.

• Groups meet in homes or in parish facilities.

• Materials are provided to facilitate groups.

• Training is provided facilitators.

• Groups arrange their own childcare.
