Stewardship Sunday:
Stewardship & Community Life
TimeOut is a program that offers a respite for caregivers and a special outing for Senior Citizens within the Edmond community. We offer a variety of planned activities, games, entertainment, snacks, and lunch as well as a communion prayer service or Daily Mass. Volunteers can provide a ride to TimeOut if needed.
Timeout meets Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
The Knights of Columbus offer support and give aid to home programs, donate to the Samaritan House of St. John’s, Project Gabriel, Center of Family Love, Peru Mission, and the Prison Ministry. Additionally, the Knights provide a monthly pancake breakfast, serve at the Lenten Fish Fry, support the youth group, and display our "colors" at the town Fourth of July parade. The Knights serve the parish in whatever capacity they deem appropriate by providing funding and manpower as needed. This is truly a faith-based organization.
As a worldwide brotherhood, Scouting is unique. It is based on the principles of loving and serving God, of human dignity and the rights of individuals, and of recognizing the obligation of members to develop and use their potential. It is a movement dedicated to bringing out the best in people.
Interested in volunteering? The most important skill is the desire to serve. We need adults who can be Den Leaders to work directly with the boys, Pack Leaders who organize the unit level activities, and Committee Members who manage the business of the unit.
St. Theresa’s Guild works on various projects throughout the year, such as lap quilts for hospital stays. No experience necessary!! Join us for some fun, fellowship, and refreshments. If you are new to the Parish, we extend a special welcome. We meet the second Tuesday of the Month from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM.
The Production Team is responsible for streaming the Daily Rosary to our Facebook page, one weekend Mass to our YouTube channel and various liturgical ceremonies as requested (funerals, weddings, etc...).
The time commitment is typically 1-5 hours per month, depending on streaming needs.
The Newcomer Welcome Committee seeks to meet new parishioners where they are and invite them to further connect with the parish through ministries that best serve their interests, gifts and talents. Responsibilities may include making phone calls, sending personalized notes, giving tours and planning events for new families.
Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance™ is an evidence-based fall prevention program that aims to improve strength, balance, mobility and daily functioning, and prevent falls in older adults and individuals with balance disorders or walking difficulty. The program is able to accommodate people with a mild level of mobility difficulty (e.g., people who are occasional cane users). Fill out the form to hear about our next session.
