Full-Time Teacher at the Nest

St. John’s NEST Children’s Day out program is looking for a full-time teacher in the Hummingbird (2-year-olds) classroom starting in August 2026. Some of the responsibilities include attending to the children’s basic needs (diapering/potty-training), creating and implementing daily activities appropriate for the age group and assuring the safety of all children.


Requirements for Employment:

  • Previous work-related skills, knowledge or experience required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Caring and loving disposition
  • Completion of background check (including finger printing)
  • Completion of Safe and Sacred Training


Competitive hourly pay is based on experience.

Faith Formation Volunteers

Men and women of all ages – from older teens to retirees – are needed to serve in our Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs. No experience is necessary - just a desire to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to our children! Being involved in this process allows you to deepen your own faith, meet new people, and build our parish community. We will provide you with all of the resources you need to teach and lead the children and youth in our program.
