About Scouts:
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Interested in volunteering?
All that's needed is a desire to support the mission of the Boy and Cub Scouts. Specific talents and/or skills are not necessary for this ministry. It is helpful to have good interpersonal skills with adults and/or with youth, leadership skills, a knack for teaching/mentoring, and outdoor skills such as camping, cooking, hiking, climbing, etc.
